法門

(法門, 法门)

(sa) dharmaparyāya. The doctrines, or wisdom of Buddha regarded as the door to enlightenment. A method. Any sect. As the living have 84,000 delusions, so the Buddha provides 84,000 methods[lang id =1028]法門of dealing with them. Hence the[lang id =1028]法門海 ocean of Buddha's methods.

法者， 如來所說之法也。 門以出入為義。 謂如來說諸妙法， 開解脫門， 普令一切有情， 皆得出離生死苦趣， 而入解脫清淨之域也。

佛所說的法， 因是眾生超凡入聖的門戶， 故稱法門。
